€121.3 Million for DCC North Inner City Regeneration Projects Welcome

I welcome the success of Dublin City Council's application to the Urban Regeneration development Fund (URDF) for funding for the North Inner City. 

The North Inner City has been semi-derelict for decades.  €121.3 will enable Dublin City Council to develop and rejuvenate Moore Street, the Markets, Parnell Square and Mountjoy Square and create a new Cultural Quarter including a new City Library. 

In the post-pandemic era it will be essential to achieve long-term sustainable regneration of the heart of the North Inner City. 

The URDF funding can help make that a reality.
